Smaller and lighter than a standard garden spade, the forged head of this border spade is made from a single piece of steel. The full, solid socket adds strength and durability. The blade is sharpened to make slicing through compacted soil quickly and with minimum effort. The steel tangs extend into sustainable grown hardwood handles, so that they’re sturdy, ultra durable, and comfortable to use. Unlike stamped steel tools that tend to be flimsy, these are ready for a lifetime of use by serious gardeners.
