The tall, terminal cone-shaped blooms open white and quickly age to pink from the bottom up before turning into botanical tan-dried winter interest to finish the year! Full sun brings the most blooms, but the Confetti Hydrangea tolerates part shade also, especially in warmer climates. Provide well-drained soil and keep watered as the blooms develop for the largest blooms. The easy-care Panicle Hydrangea is low maintenance, with pruning recommended only once a year, in late winter or early spring. This woody Hydrangea only needs to be cut back by about 1/3 reduction of overall size, leaving a somewhat rounded outline, for a nice form as it develops.
