Ancho Poblano Pepper Seeds – Heirloom, Non-GMO, Non-Hybrid, Open Pollinated

Grow your own deliciously mild and flavorful Ancho Poblano peppers from our premium heirloom, non-GMO, non-hybrid, open-pollinated seeds. Ideal for salsas, stuffed peppers, or drying to create rich, smoky ancho powder, these versatile peppers are a must-have for any garden enthusiast or culinary gardener.

Each packet contains 400mg of seed, approximately 40 seeds

Planting & Growing Instructions:

• Start Indoors: Begin seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before your last expected frost.

• Planting Depth: Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep in a well-draining seed-starting mix.

• Days to Germination: Expect germination in 7-14 days with warm soil and consistent moisture.

• Transplanting Outdoors: Once outdoor temperatures are consistently above 65°F, transplant seedlings outside. Seeds can be sown directly outdoors in warm climates after the last frost.

• Plant Spacing: Space plants 18-24 inches apart in the garden or large containers.

• Sun Requirements: Ancho Poblano peppers thrive in full sun and require at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily.

• Soil: Plant in well-drained soil with a pH between 6.0-6.8. Keep the soil consistently moist, but avoid overwatering.

• Days to Maturity: Harvest your peppers in 75-90 days, picking them green or waiting until they ripen to a deep red for drying and storage.

If you’re looking for robust, flavorful, and nutritious peppers, our Ancho Poblano seeds are the perfect choice for your home garden. These heirloom seeds produce vigorous plants that offer a reliable harvest season after season. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just starting, you’ll love the ease of growing these exceptional peppers.
