‘Elwood Orange’ is a new Japanese maple with an amazing spring orange color in the spring where it gets it’s name. After spring, the leaves mature to a yellow green that gives a good contrast out in the garden. Fall color on ‘Elwood Orange’ can be a bright red. ‘Elwood Orange’ may reach 8-10 ft in height in 10 years with a nice upright habit. Because this selection is new, many are getting this selection confused with ‘Elmwood’ or ‘Edgewood Orange’. They are quite different however the names are quite similar.
